Shattered: The Reality of Drinking and Driving

Project: Shattered: The Reality of Drinking and Driving
Deliverable: Print Design, Infographic Magazine
Role: Art Director
Recognition: 2016 Winner of Abernethy Prize in Student Publication Work at UNC-Chapel Hill

The inspiration of this project came after a tragic accident within the UNC community in 2015 involving a student drunk driving. As Art Director, I led a team of 11 students to create an impactful, yet informative infographic based publication on drunk driving. I created the style guide, managed the collection of research and content curation, and led the creative process from start to finish.

Each year, one student at the University of North Carolina is awarded Abernethy Prize in Student Publication Work for their impactful work in journalism and publication by the Chancellor. I was honored to be awarded this prize as a result of directing this project in 2016.
